The physical space supports interactions, communication, discussions amd explorations. Children are invited and inspired to build relationships through their environment. The arrangement of structures, objects, and activities encourages choices, problem solving, and discoveries in the process of learning.
Reggio Emilia schools is essentially beautiful, from the color of the walls to the shape of the furniture, and the arrangement of simple objects. Light comes from large windows and through transparent collages made by children. And, the green of the plants are everywhere.
