The Hundred Language of Children |
The Hundred languages of children
Children are able to learn in many different ways. They can learn by dancing, painting, drawing, playing, singing, imaging, pretending, and many more.
The hundred languages represent an inspirational resemblance with Howard Gardner's multiple intelligence theory. It is an allegory of children's exceptional potential, skills and abilities to process, create and construct their own knowledge, actively exploring and establishing meaninful relatioships with the environment.
Reggio Emilia inspired teachers are called to foster rich enviroments where children can use all hundred languages to learn.
